Extreme E takes electric racing to some of the most remote corners of the planet to highlight the challenges of climate change.

Extreme E's revolutionary 400kw (550hp), 1650kg, 2.3 meter wide, battery-electric ODYSSEY 21 E-SUV is tailor-made from the ground up and is capable of shooting from 0-62 mph in 4.5 seconds, in gradients of up to 130%.
The Drivers' Program was developed to promote professional drivers and assist teams and potential entries. Series organizers will recommend potential competitors from their Drivers Program to the teams; however, if the teams prefer, they will have the autonomy to select their own drivers.

The Team
Led by 2016 Formula 1 world champion and sustainability entrepreneur Nico Rosberg, the team is an evolution of Team Rosberg, founded in 1994 by Nico's father and 1982 F1 world champion Keke Rosberg.
The RXR builds on the team's success at the German Touring Car Masters (DTM) as well as Nico's post-F1 career as an entrepreneur in the field of sustainable mobility.
The team is based in Neustadt, Germany and has successfully competed in a number of racing series, including Formula BMW, Formula 3 and the German Touring Masters Championship (DTM). Since its inception, Team Rosberg has claimed a total of 38 DTM victories, as well as two drivers' and teams' titles. Nico Rosberg oversees RXR development at Extreme E as the team's founder and CEO, while Kimmo Liimatainen assumes the role of team boss.
